A friend just brought me a bag of chocolate covered macadamia nuts from Hawai'i. I LOVE them - I tae half the bag in one crazy sitting (I guess I lost my mind for a moment) - TELL ME about different shades of brown....!!!

    Uh-Oh... gotta RUUUUuuuunnnnnnn

wellllllll, there's light brown, dark brown, medium brown, light tan, dark tan, medium tan. Some browns come with a tinge of green (Yuck) or red.

    We can wear it proudly!!

Yeah! I'm so glad your results are negative. I too, am getting a CT every 6 mo. now, and it makes me feel a little exposed. I rejoyce and am apprehensive at the same time. It's a long time to not know what is going on in there. I am allergic to the dye also. I took steroids and benedryl before the test and didn't have much of a reaction, just felt a little sluggish for a few days after. jams

Thank you to everyone and I am not sure how good I will be able to type but my oncologist called about an hour ago. I could tell by his voice that he was pretty happy. As I said before, my cancer shows up on the CEA tumor marker. It was the lowest it had ever been in Feb of this year @ 2.1 but then went up to 2.3 in August, I watch it like a hawk!!!!!!

BUT IT WAS ONLY 1.2 TODAY!!!!!!! HUGE !!!!!!!!!

I have company coming tomorrow and my house is clean so I am going to take a nice hot bath and enjoy the moment and can't wait to hear who has good news next!!!!!!!

    Again, thanks everyone!!!!!!!

Incredibly happy for you, Lisa! I am on the pretreatment right now (for tomorrow's CTs)...I am so sorry that you had a reaction. The Prednisone really sucks - maybe you are lucky to NOT have it again...
Best to you and have a good celebration - Maura

    Congrats, Darlin'!

See what happens when you study? CONGRATS! Lemme know when you order your pink bowling shirt. You know, Actually I think they should be either blue or brown - I'm getting a little sick of pink... I mean, great cause and all, but PUH-LEEZ, let's spread the love around a little bit! I mean, it is called T AND A, right? Oh boy, do I see a great ad campaign in the offing if we could pair up colon cancer and breast cancer...

(I know, "Bob, go back to Jr. High School.")

    Cheers!

Thats brillo brillo brillo. I am so happy for you. Best of luck with port removal. Wow, that is such good news.

    Lisa,
I'm soo happy for you, but I must admit it's due to some selfishness on my part. If you can be victorious, so can I. My onc told me that he's never seen naturopathic medicine work for this. I told him I'd like to be his first (I should have said I "intend" to be his first, because I do). I had a cat scan last week. Shows small growth in all the lesions, but I kind of expected that. I hd the scan earlier than I wanted because of some symptoms i was having (a cough and chest heaviness). Of course the symptoms were gone by the time of the scan. My next scan is Jan 2. I intend for things to stabilize or start shrinking by then. I will have been on the naturopathic stuff for a good solid 3.5 months.
Anyway...COngrats!!! Enjoy. Sorry to hear about the trouble with the imaging agent.
