Hi! I haven't posted in a long time but had to share my positive news. I was diagnosed with stage III c in August of 2004. I had 13 positive nodes. I completed Folfox IV treatments and am still NED. I had both a bone scan and CT yesterday morning and got the call in the afternoon that all was clear. I have lived with the knowledge that my chances for recurrence are high statistically and I know many of you do too. I'm beginning to believe that those of us who have had the opportunity to use the newer chemo protocols are going to rewrite those statistics. Thanks for all of your support and involment over the past two years-I hope my positive experience can help ease the fear and give great hope to at least one person today who needs a boost. With God's help,we can beat this thing!

Whoo hoo! I'm so glad to hear this. Every time I hear it I get a little less frantic knowing some are still NED. It is frightening after stopping chemo that you are in "wait and see" mode. I'm trying to refocus and do diet changes so I still feel like I'm in "Fight" mode. Thanks for this post!
