Greetings all from beautiful (and I mean BEAUTIFUL) Halifax, Nova Scotia! I cannot even describe how much I miss these gatherings. The warmth is irreplaceable. The support is overwhelming. The sense of family is amazing. Kay experienced her first shots with us....this time, no needles involved as in chemo.

There is a bad part to all of this, at this Palooza. I was really looking forward to meeting jerseysue and hanging out with Kerry. But due to health reasons, neither were able to attend. Some people praise me for reaching the 5 yr. milestone, but it's THOSE STILL FIGHTING THE FIGHT who inspire me. I'm not sure how everyone perceives me, but at the end of the day, I thank my lucky stars for the best friends I have met through this site. But I know in my heart that those deep in the battle will give it all they have (Jana, Mark (Limey) jerseysue, Kerry, Bud just to name a few!)to get through this and make each day as special as it needs to be.

    By the way....

    Jerseysue, we have things to add from Halifax to your healing bag. We're saving a spot for you and your hubby at CP-5!

    I'm so bummed that I'm not with you guys. But I feel your support thru the miles. I already told Mike that he is coming to the next palazoo no doubt about anything! Have a great time and know that I'm there in spirit. Lift your glasses high everyone deserve it!

    Stacy, et al,

    I am missing you guys so much. I tried to call last night and will try again tonight. Couldn't get through to the hotel and Andy's cell phone said "the cell phone you are trying to reach is not receiving calls at this time".

    I am thinking about you all and wishing upon all the stars that I could be there, but....save that place for CP-5 - I'll be there even if I have to bring my syringes with me.

    If you guys can email to me pictures on a daily basis, I can post them on www.colonpalooza.com. And any written updates you want to include. It would be like SNN (semicolon news network).

    Shots? your doing shots? I have done 64 shots of GoLYTELY this afternoon down at the ole tavern by the crapper. Next time i'm trying your kind of shots. Palooza's are proof that this beast does not always win. I am making plans for the next one. This sounds to fun to miss. I would write more but I REALLY gotta go. Keep up the positive vibes.

    Great to hear you have arrived safely Stacy.Now go and enjoy the hospitality we are sure is being "enforced" on you....lol!Somehow I think you will not have a spare moment to rest.By the look of Lisa's photos of Halifax the sightseeing will be beautifull. Then of course you will also have some wonderfull friends to enjoy it with.
    PS.....Lisa n Scouty.....try not to feed her too much "happy juice"....lol!
    WARNING.....carefull dancing Stacy....Scouty likes to dance with a drink in her hand....which makes for a slippery dance floor! hehe!
