Best wishes to everyne. I have had a good weekend away to cleebrate St Patricks day. Went to a place called Wexford, backed a few horses in Cheltenham and won and watched Irelands rugby team beat England in the Triple crown championship, but best of all was to be away from people who know my condition, for a little bit of denial. Have CT Scan this afternnon. Would love to have positive messages coming my way. Not expecting NED, stable will suffice, although if NED chooses to visit, thatd be very welcome You never can tell eh,

Margo

Sending postive prayers your way. I have always loved this Irish prayer:

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall softly on your fields
And until we meet again, May God hold
you in the hollow of his hand

Let us know how the scan goes.

    Margo -

Wishing you the very best with your scans today. Glad you got some time out to enjoy the holiday!

I will leave you with two of my favorite Irish toasts:

"May you die in your bed at the ripe old age of 95 - shot by a jealous husband"

"May you be buried in a casket made from the wood of a 100 year old oak tree... that I shall plant today."

    Cheers

And EVEN BETTER WISHES to you on your upcoming CT scan.

I am very new to this site and am learning something new everyday. My mom was dx in Jan 06 with stage IV cc.

She just started chemo last week and is very sick; and so am I inside for her. But since I have started talking with many, many people on this website; I've realized that the word "cancer" doesn't always have to mean "death".

So again, thank you for your post; you are one of the many inspirations I now have for my mom and I.

God Bless you and your family, Margo!

    Much Love,
    Mary from Wisconsin

Hiya Margo....nothing wrong with directing your attention somewhere else for a spell. I know we have all been in a position of needing to "break" away from those around us. It is so hard on family and friends to try to be upbeat around us and there comes a time when we all need to treat ourselves to something that will take the cancer from our minds....even if only for a short time.
All tha best for your scans, huggs, Ross and Jen
