Hey everyone, I'm driving myself crazy trying to plan for the Relay for Life. I am in charge of the survivor activities and am having to come up with ideas for gifts and things. I have absolutely no clue what to look at. My mom has been through treatments and her 5 years is in June. I had a great idea to give the survivors kids a little something but I have no clue what to get for the survivors or any activities. I think we are going to release balloons but other than that I'm clueless. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas I could use.

small bags with bubblegum, pencils, erasers, ...I'm not sure what your budget is for this sort of event. Check out this site, www.orientaltrading.com and maybe you can get alot of ideas from there. There are many many items that are very affordable that you can purchase in bulk. Good Luck. God Bless you for you work in this project. p/s if you cant pull up the site email me at syl02via@aol.com and I will email it to you. thanks!

Thanks for the help and the encouragement I need it right now. You have no idea how much that means.

First of all, crazy is not a place any caregiver needs to be, but Relay is such a wonderful way to feel like we are actively fighting this cancer beast. Like the previous reply, not knowing what your budget is for survivor activities - check with your ACS office for survivor gifts from the Relay vendors. They have things like flashlights, wristbands, license plate holders, mugs, etc. and some are in the price range of $3-$5. This was my second year involved in Relay, supporting my 22 year old son who is currently in treatment for brain cancer. We absolutely love Relay. aloha from Hawaii
