Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I've posted an update so here it is and good news at that.

Yesterday was my Dr appointment, labwork and chemo. When we saw the Doc he said not to expect my counts to go down until chemo #4, I said that my tumor markers had slowed down in their increase and that I felt they would be down this time. He of course smiled but said don’t expect much maybe a slight decrease. Is he going to be pleasantly surprised! When we left chemo yesterday they checked if the labs were back and my ca125 has dropped to 49, I left there singing Praises to the Lord! Still on a high, thank God for each of you who have lifted me in prayer. I know His mighty hand is in this. I am feeling so blessed and what a wonderful spring present.

We came home and saddled the horses and went for a ride. Not the most pleasant relaxed ride as the horses are pretty spunky in the spring and this rider isn't as good as she once was. I don’t' feel the stirrups from all the neuropathy I have in my feet and that is just a little scary when the horses are so hot. But it was fun. :-)

Spring is here, do you take time to hear it, to see it, to feel it, to smell it. The birds are singing, the tulips are poking through, the breeze smells wonderful, the rippling of the water to the creek and frogs croaking. I love it! Thank the Lord for our wonderful seasons.

Wow I guess I must be really wound up from the good news and steroid combination. :-) I could write a novel today.

    I'm so glad to hear things are going well for you! I'm totally envious of your horse riding in the springtime. It's been a long time since I had a horse, and I do miss the ride.

    Your news is so good and uplifting.

    Thank you everyone. It is so ironic I got good news and then a little over a week later find out my eldest daughter has a brain tumor. She is 36, married and they have 3 children. Her dr has referred her to Mayo Clinic in Rochester. She sees the neurosurgeon on May 4th, seems so far off. Waiting is always the hardest and especially when we don't know much. It is easier when it is us sick and not our children.
