Since your whipple operation Does anyone out there have a feeling at times like its hollow under the sternum?? Almost like there is a space.
How about funny little pains like cramps in your lower abdomen??
What side effects?

Hello, my husband just had a wipple operation 2 months ago he has not commented on that empty feeling, his problem is very dry mouth. He cannot eat any kind of solid food. He says his mouth draws all of the moisture out of the food and makes it very gummy and he cannot swallow the food. have you had any experience with that problem or have you any advice for him. His only food supplement is Ensure Plus. He is so weak and thin, need nutrition but will not eat!
Thank you for any help you can give. DCart

Been using creon for 10 years and no problems. If anything double the dose and don't forget to take creon before meals if possible.

I didn't care for the taste of Ensure and we found that "Carnation Instant Breakfast" dry powder pouches had same benefits as the high cost one. Compare the lables. Also check my web page, "Grandpa Remembers" cause your husband will make it with your help.
