Hi! I had breast cancer in Sept. Had a mastestomy, and reconstruction. My reconstruction was in April. I also had my other breast reduced at the same time. This weekend I found a lump on the reduced breast. Could if be cancer or is it too soon. I just finished 4 treatments of AC in Feb. Could the lump be scaring from the sugery? Any one have any thoughts? I am scared! Thanks

You should definitely have it checked out, but I bet it's something related to the surgery. It's hard not to be scared so have your doctor check it out and then you can relax. Peace - Diane

Hey minnie, I agree with Diane. It's like everything seems to scare me since the diagnosis. A minor cough is lung cancer till proven otherwise, but.....the good news is its usually just a cough....or scar tissue in the breast in your case. After I had my lumpectomy, when I finally got brave enough to check my breast I freaked out. There seemed to be new lumps pop up off and on in various places, including right where the lump had been. They were all benign execpt one and I didn't even feel it. Chances are it is scar tissue, but just to be safe, check with your doctor.
    God bless. hummingbyrd

Dear Lord God, I ask Father that You embrace this lady in Your loving arms. Surround her with Your angels of healing and mercy. Provide her Lord with a peace and hope that surpasses all else on earth. Be with her God as she goes to see her doctor. Heal her body of any cancer, and give her strength, through Your love and the love and support of her family during this time. I ask these things in Christ' name. Amen.

hummingbyrd That was so nice of you thanks. I go for an ultrasound tomorrow. All my doctors say they think it is just scar tissue. I hope they are right. I will let you know. Thank you again for the prayers.

good news everyone. I went for my ultrasound today and the radiologist said he did not think it was a mass on my breast. He said it is probably from the surgery and I should just watch it for a couple of months. I am still going to have my doctor look at the ultrasound but the readiolgist made me feel much better. Thanks for your support:)
