Cramping

I was diagnosed 11/11/02 with rectal cancer and had a low anterior resection on 12/6/02 with a temporary illeostomy. I will be having the illeostomy reversed within the next couple of weeks. I have been experiencing a weird feeling in the rectum with the passage of some mucous and blood clots. I also get a stomachache after meals.
Does anyone else experience the cramping and what do you do to relieve it ? Thanks, in advance, for your response

Your symptoms are very common in your circumstances and do not sound like anything to worry about.I have sent you another message. in case it does not reach you, the cure for almost anything is 2 tablets of codeine + paracetamol and a measure (or two) of Irish Whisky. I'm actually not joking, it worked really well for me when I was having a bad time with the six months chemo. Needless to say, I'm calling from Ireland where i live.Good luck and I'll add you to my prayer list. vcavanagh.0
