Hellow to all,I am new to this , and think that it is a wonderful thing.I found out that I had ovca on Dec.2nd. 2000, during surgery to remove a 16cm. mass.Like all of you, cancer was the furthest thing from my mind.I had a total hysto. , neg. lymph nodes, the cancer was self-containedat at a Stage IIc.I started chemo. Jan.5th.,2001. My husband gave me a lap-top for X-mas, thinking that I may be sick from the treatments. He wanted me to find info. on this "thing called cancer".I was too affraid. I only wanted to know what I needed to know at the time.It took me this long to finally do it. Hearing all of the stories of survival, hope, and this "sister-hood", well, it just lightened the load, the load we carry TOGETHER.Thank you all so much for shareing yourselves. If I may be of some help to anyone, about anything, PLEASE let me know. thanx again Patti

I am fairly new too... OVCA diagnosed in March 2002. Stage IV. Congrats on your success, faith and determination. It is great to have somewhere that others support one another. So... although I am somewhat new, I still want to say Welcome and I would be happy to chat/exchange email with you anytime. Nodual214@aol.com God Bless and keep the Faith... Heidi

Hello,I was diagnosed Sept.23 2003 with ovarian cancer stage 11c. I had a complete hysterectomy and six chemo treatments...carbo and taxol...On the second treatment I had a reaction to the taxol so I finshed my treatments with just the carbo...my CA125 runs around 11 which I am very pleased with that...So far I have did great I feel good most of the time I try to stay busy...I was 55 when I was first diagnosed...I just hope and pray that I continue doing this well...I hope and pray that we all survive this thing...I do a lot of praying...I thank God every day that I have...God bless all of you...
