Just joined this group as my father was just diagnosed with lung cancer (88 years old) and the outlook for him is pretty bleak, too. However, he is doing radiation to see if that will help shrink it and make him more comfortable. I know this is an older message for you, but do look into Hospice. It is a wonderful organization and can walk you through so much. My husband died of prostate cancer 5 years ago and we were involved with Hospice the last few months. Do check into it as they can help with all aspects.

In addition to what the others have said, there are also a lot of resources on oncology.com. When I was researching my cancer I found a lot of helpful information. They also have a cancer buddies live chat for friends and family. My prayers are with you, your family, and grandmother. I read a book once that helped me a lot when I had cancer on the emotional front. I believe it was more geared to family of cancer patients but it became valuable when I, as a family member, had to deal with my brothers terminal cancer. The name of the book is "On Death and Dying" by Elizabeth Kubler Ross. May God bless you and your family.
