    Liquid biopsy

If you are able to, have you considered a liquid biopsy? My wife used a company called Tempus that arranged the whole thing. A liquid biopsy is typically used to assess any cancerous indications in the blood steam (I'm not a doctor so maybe my terminology isn't right on), but point is a liquid biopsy can scan for microscopic tumour markers in you blood stream, when scans aren't showing anything. If there's cancer in your body, these liquid biopsies have been known to pick up what can't always be seen by a scan. Wishing you the best.

Thank you sgold88. I will ask for that.

Thank you sgold88. I will ask for that. But my doctors are conservative. They were hesitant to order a PET. But I will surely bring this up.
My PET scan is scheduled for this Thu

    Empty your bladder

That is my only advice for a PET scan.  They let you go to the loo, right before the scan; so do what you have to get every last little bit out.  It is a long scan, and you don't get to move.

OK, I may be the only one that had the bursting bladder problem, but still thought I would share.  If I ever had to have it done again, i would wear a Depend thingy.

The PET scan found a hypermetabolic lymph node in the pelvis measuring 1.6cmx1.2 cm (near obturator chain in pelvic region) that was ruled 'recurrence' unless proven otherwise. I am so bummed. Has this kind of met been treated for any of you? If yes, please share details. I have not met with my oncologist yet.
