Look at Wilmot in Rochester or if you are able to get there, Roswell in Buffalo is well regarded.

Thanks for the responce Im 35 miles from Wilmot and 95 from Roswell . Have you been a patient at either one ? Ive been looking at MSK but dont know if the treatment would be any better . 

We are in Toronto and my wife was treated at Princess Margaret here. We know many people in Buffalo who speak very, very highly about Roswell. They say it's world class and is as good care as you'll get anywhere else in the US. Not sure how it compares to MSK, which I have heard great things about from a friend of mine in New York City. I have nothing concrete to speak of as it pertains to Wilmot. I'm sure it's also fantastic. Good luck on your journey.

I, too, had been treated at Princess Margaret,and would like to let you know that I consider the doctors from UHN (Princess Margaret,Toronto General and Toronto Western) the best doctors I had ever met in my life (and thanks to them my life is getting even longer). I think we are extremely lucky to have a great health care and very skillful and knowlegable doctors.

I am NED at this moment,and hope it is going to stay this way. Unfortunatelly I had developed a side problem after having been clear of my colon cancer....but that is another story,which is looked after as well.

I spent 18 months in Ontario, 12 of them, in and around the Toronto area. 

When I think of those areas, Downsview, Mississagua, Oshawa, I almost feel homesick.  Loved it up there.

We also feel fortunate to have been treated at PMH. My wife was diagnosed at 39 years old with colon cancer and then 2 liver mets. She is nearly 2 years NED at this point in time, her prognosis is good and we are so thankful for the care we received from the doctors at PMH and Toronto General. We think and talk about her oncologist, her surgeon and her nurse each and every single day and are so appreciative of how they took such good care of her. I wish you continued good health, Suzy.
