    Yippee!

I’m jumping up and down even on my broken ankle!  Praise the Lord!  Never give up hope!

    Ankle Club

Cheese, we are now a double-support club that no one wants to join - I'm in recovery from a whale of a broken ankle.  Fell down the stairs on the first day of our Alaska cruise, which immediately became the last day of our Alaska cruise.  Surgery, screws, plates and a very long recovery thus far.  So sorry to hear you're dealing with this too!

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear that, Susan. My ankle used to roll out from under me, too, until I had it reconstructed with bone anchors. Will they eventually have to do something like that with you?

Oh, I hope not Bobbi! This is the first time it happened and it’s relatively minor. Just a little break on the end of the fibula. I hope it’s just that I was a little tired and not something more serious like my osteoporosis causing the break. The orthopedic guy I saw ( actually I think I just saw the PA) was not familiar with my history although I tried to tell him.

    Ouch!

That sounds painful. Glad it is not serious. Hope you will get better soon, CheeseQueen.

    I am beaming

Smile  Wonderful news and I am so happy for you. As you know, our paths have been similar so your news always makes me happy. I have my 3 mo. check tomorrow and as we all know, am trying to act as if there is no worry, but can't wait to get it behind me - whatever the news. I stop my Eliquis 2 days before in case they need to do a biopsy, and keep my fingers crossed that they won't.

So you keep on doing better and better!!! Love good news !!!
