Hi,

I'm new to this community. I have been under medication for breast cancer for the last two years. I need some help from people over here to get some legal advice to fight against the company selling drugs with some side effects. Is anyone here to help me?

    Lawsuit Against Pharmaceutical Companies

There are several class action lawsuits involving chemotherapy drugs that are currently active in the U.S. You would need to name the specific drug that you took in order to find the information on any of those suits.

Please help to file a Taxotere lawsuit

Hi jessiesmom1, thanks for the information.

Taxotere is the drug responsible for my current condition.  I'm undergoing chemotherapy treatment since 2009. It was too late when I realized, breast cancer has started killing me.

The symptoms of redness and rash on the skin and breast pain led me to undergo a diagnostic test. Then I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and immediately started the chemotherapy as the cancer was too big to removed by surgery. I have undergone chemo treatment for one and a half years and then I underwent a surgery.

By that time I lost my health, hair and appearance. I was completely downhearted and in that condition, I had to take chemotherapy again. In 2012, I got a clean report from the panel of doctors who treated me.

The life after the treatment was horrible and only God knows how I still survive on Earth! What do you feel if cancer again targets you? Yes, again in 2016, I was diagnosed with cancer to the other breast. I'm under treatment for it now.

I don't want to face my family, friends or even the mirror. I always search for solutions for mental depressions and physical side effects. Do you think doctors would use a drug having severe side effects even if an alternative is available?

Last month only I came to know that the drug they used for me(Taxotere) causes permanent hair loss. And a lawyer is telling, a Taxotere lawsuit can be filed if an equally effective drug was available that did not cause permanent hair loss. And they have mentioned that manufacturer of Taxotere did not warn anyone. Can I consult the same lawyer?

I'm confused and worried about the treatment I am undergoing. I'm not in a condition to fight, but still, I want to get justice.

Could you please help me to get out of this worries. What can I do next? Need some advice regarding the treatment too.

    Taxotere

I am sorry you have had a recurrence of breast cancer. I also received Taxotere during my cancer treatment.  I suggest you type "Taxotere class action lawsuit" into your search engine and you will get a LOT of information  on these lawsuits. In addition, the permanent side effects of the taxane class of drugs has been on several threads on this discussion board. I wish you luck in your search for answers.
