Sad news about our Lou Ann & Funeral Info

  • Good bye dear dear friend.

You were a warrior princess, giving me comfort, compassion, hope and wisdom when I needed it most.  You are a pioneer with your treatments, when our disease treatment is stuck in the 90's.  I hope that your treatment options will be studied and help in the future (much like my brother-in-law in his trials for bill duct liver cancer has opened up new treatment options).  How I wish you were still with us, but that is selfish of me, you fought so valiently and deserve no more pain or struggle and true happiness in the beyond. Hugs Nancy

    I hope

That at some point Lou Ann's family sees this tribute to her.  She means so much to us and made a difference in our lives. Her act is a hard one to follow.

So sorry to hear about Lou Ann

I haven't been on the boards in a month or so, and logged in to see this. I'm so sorry and sad for Lou Ann and her family. She fought the good fight and gave some great tips. I enjoyed reading that she ate treats when she wanted, well, just because. She was a kind, good soul. RIP.

    So Supportive of Others

Lou Ann was always so supportive of others despite having to deal with all of her own major health challenges.  She will be very much missed by those who had the privilege of crossing paths with her on this board.  Sending my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Oh Eldri, that's great. Thank you for sharing! Lou Ann's profile picture wasn't very clear and I always wondered what she looked like IRL, so it was wonderful to see her smiling face and learn a little more about her life. What a wonderful human being, and what a loss. B
