And round 2

Dr just called I go in today at 4 for a follow up CT. What are the chances of it being a mistake?
I've been up all night. I haven't cried this much since this all began. I'm sad, scared and just plain pissed off!
I feel so defeated. I feel like a Teflon pan that has none of the non sticky stuff left.

    I accept your feelings...

you have a right to all of them.

This seems to be one of the largest hurdles any cancer patient has: i.e., the helplesness, hopelesness, frustration, anger, and the "get over it" attitude of others, including medical staff.

Hopefully, you'll have quick results back on the CT.

Keep that bright smile on your face and know there are a bunch of us sending good wishes.

    Hugs,

    Cin,

    Most

Most of us don't get to chose our fate. We don't get to chose alot that happens to us. One thing we can control is our reaction. At first, I was confused and crying, then amid the turmoil I decided to just face the storm. I had no other choice. I found a certain peace in that, I found that I had at least some control, if not what was happening to me, the way I faced it. You can do this. I pray for you, peace.

    Good Luck!

As hard as it will be to do - stay positive.  Hopefully, there was a mistake and there's no second mass...but if there is, keep in mind everything was found early and that increases  chances for a good outcome.  We'll be thinking of you - give us updates!

Hopeful I will hear results today. I just need some good news for a change. The last 6 mos have been nothing but bad news.

Thank you all for dealing with my rant. I will keep you updated. I apologize if I offended anyone.

    Are you OK?

    Cinnamon,

Any news you care to share?

And I also just read the fine print - has that been there all along?  You won't be offending anyone by being open about your feelings and emotions.

    Hope all is well.

    I am.

Manfred, I am doing well thank you. I have been referred to Seattle for a second opinion and I'll have the procedure down there. I posted the whole extended ordeal on a different thread.

But yes all in all I am doing well. Thank you
