G'day all,
Just passed year 12 cancer free. Operated on ,on 22nd of Jan 1998 for stage three colon ca into 6 lymph nodes. I guess I qualify as a senior ,I turn 60 this year. The way things are going ,if I make it to 90 most of the good bits will have been cut out or fallen off. Cheers Ron.

    G,day Hondo.
Very close mate it is an estuary cod ,32lb, taken off an inshore reef just off the Sunshine Coast in Queensland ,Australia. It was a toss up as to what cured me of cancer, chemo or fishing. I believe it was fishing. I still fish as much as my health allows me to. All the best Ron.

    Ron

The Island I grew-up on has one of the largest Barrier Reefs in the world only next to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. What beauty there is just under the Sea.

Take care my friend and keep fishing your way back to health.

    scope results
Well I am nearly past year 13 . I was a bit concerned because the scopes for the last two years have been compromised because I haven't cleaned out well enough. I have just had my latest scope. It was a good one and came back clear and clean. I don't have to have another scope for three years,so looking good to 16yrs ca free,Cheers Ron.

    Anniversary

I just did the same last Month November 2014 was my 12 years from first cancer treatment and 10 years from my second treatment. Having a lot of problems from having so much radiation but I put my life into the hands of God and my Savior everyday; when I wake up and my eyes open I say, are right another day, thanks you Lord.

    God Bless you all

Well, I will be darned! Hey

Well, I will be darned! Hey you guys! Not sure if I am a senior survivor, but by the grace of God, here I is! So good to stop in for a visit and see you Hondo, and a few others who helped me so much in my journey. I am 5 years out, and just got back on my feet volunteering at a local Senior Center. They are a riot! I work for food, and have gained back a lot of my lost weight. As with you Hondo, I too am grateful to the Lord for giving me more time on this earth. I am very happy to see you are doing well, along with a few other warriors! I am saddened by all the new people added to our H&N Family, and my prayers go out to them.         Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
