in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1

I got the pathology results from my hysterectomy today. Stage 1a, Grade 1. No lymph node involvement and the tumor was completely contained within the endometrium -- did not spread significantly into the wall of the uterus. No additional treatment needed, just follow-up. I continue to heal slowly from the surgery.

I want to thank everyone here for sharing their stories; I have learnt so much and will always draw comfort and inspiration from this great group of ladies. I continue to hope and pray that each of you gets good news and healing.

    I am so happy for you.  Best news ever.  I have hysterectomy next week.  Scared as Hell.  I pray everyone here gets great news this year!

    Great news!

    JinVa, I am so happy that your cancer was Stage 1A. I just recently learned a friend of mine was diagnosed the same back in November. All the best on your recovery from surgery. So glad you don’ t need chemo or radiation! You are blessed!
