Tami, I'm hoping the chemo will get you NED again. I'm taking Lou Ann's advice and keeping my port and head gear. I know unfortunately it's always a possibility to need it again one day.

    Port

Mrs. Red is keeping her port in.  Because you know as soon as you have it removed the cancer gods give you a reoccurrence!

    Chemo

I start chemo on Monday Januarary 9, I had to call and set it up. My doctor only goes to McGee Women's hospital now because he is also doing administrative stuff there.I went to a different facility last time where he went to and felt more connected. I told his nurse I feel like I might get lost in the crowd there. She couldn't explain who dropped the ball on calling me....This is why you have to be your own advocate and pursue appointments. I will be getting carboplatin and pacilitaxol again for 6 treatments. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.

You are so very right, Tami.

You are so very right, Tami. It stinks that you had to do that but hopefully that was the worst of it and it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Good luck to you!

Tami- so sorry to hear that!

Its' a bummer when someone drops the ball- so glad you caught on that something was up and got them back on track.  Thanks for sharing that so that others will benefit.  It's so hard to see these centers all SO BUSY!!!  That is a LOT of cancer Frown

We'll be praying for you as you begin treatment that everything goes smoothly and having high hopes that you'll be dancing with NED again soon.  (((HUGS)))
