Hello everyone, I have come here for support from people who have the same illness as I do. Family and friends really do not understand what we go through. Are we to ask people to join us as friends on our personal account? If so I could use some friends and support and I offer my support in any way I can to anyone who needs it. God bless to all.

    Post away Teashea. Keep sharing your thoughts and you will find out who has similar issues. Be active here and you will know who your friends are. Just ask Jan. It is a friendly reminder to add some info to your bio. It helps for quick reference. Without that, I could never remember every ones history for the last 5 years.

    I had forgotten about the friend feature. I think it is because of the personal messaging feature.

    We're all here to give and get support.  Although my "friend feature" says I have no friends either, I assure you Stomper, you have many!

    Teashea, as I recall, you're traveling through some tough stuff, as Fox said, it would be helpful if you filled out your profile.....when you have time.

    I am new here also and signed up for the same reasons you describe in your post. I think one of the hardest things about this illness is not having someone to talk to about it. I think that this will be a good place for both of us. Although I think that I need to work on my spelling.

    We all sign up for the same reasons I think. Here we can talk about everything as opposed to not being able to say anything. And dont worry spilling is not impotent.

    Nobody understands us better than... us!  Yes you will find friends here and different personalities.  Everyone helps in their own special way.  Some can be very funny, others can be very educational, some others protective, shy or outgoing... I won't tell names you will discover on your own in time!

    Sorry you had to join this "club" as our Iceman lobbyman says, but if you must join, no better place to come!   Sending you both good wishes for health and the peace of mind we all so much need.

    The people on this board, past and present, are a tremendous resource.  Thanks to all who've shared to create this valuable information trove.  Without the sharing, newbies to the "club" are left in a vacuum. When I 'joined' I took great comfort when I found evidence of folks who had been Votrient for many years.  So for these reasons, I too share.  And the response has been heart warming.

    Same reason as most I suppose. You can't really talk to most people about what is happening to us. We understand it and want and need to talk about it.

    Welcome to all new people reaching out on this site. Today is a good day. So far no side effects from 2 weeks of cabomeyx. Looking for info and others experiences on the cabo board Fox started.

    This discussion board saved my sanity when my husband was diagnosed (I was pregnant at that time). After reading page after page for the whole night I calmed down and believed he would be allright.

    I hope this forum will help you the same way it helped me. Welcome and good luck to you both, and let this forum persuade you you'll do fine, even at the higher stages...
