    Was it the 4th?

When she told us, I was so sure I'd remember.  Why do i keep kidding myself?  Anyway, good luck Moli.  If you remind us of the date, I WILL WRITE IT DOWN so I can send good thoughts your way.

you are all having ' something' brain

"I will be moving on the 1st and having surgery on the 15th " Any body remember that.I wonder why I am the only one who remembers, wanna take a guess anybody? LOL.

Oh Lord guys don't cause me to remember ,I am so tired  mentally and physically with a bit of renovation still to be completed so that I can feel settled  before surgery.

New news ,They have now announced that they have spotted gall stones on last scan  and discussing removal,I had no pain or discomfort there, so since my surgeons can't or won't leave well enough alone  I got the brilliant idea of asking them to also remove the canopy that thinks  it is sheltering my vagina from the rain. Of course they are  now debating that as it is kinda cosmetic. I will let you guys know the gory details after my pre op visit next week. I would hate to go to sleep for  so very long (many hours surgery) and wake up with the same belly. I am going to my pre-op visit with my best pretty please face on, and see if it  still works.I am hoping so.

Thanks guys for kinda remembering. Love you all.

Eldri, thanks for posting this, as I was wondering

the same thing!  Thanks for reminding us about the dates, Moli.  Since chemo, I am not the same person in the memory department.  Sometimes, I forget my own appointments!  LOL!  Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.  I am feeling pretty good.  As many of you know, I like to swim. Well, I once also ran and decided recently to start walking with the goal of jogging, too.  Today, I walked/jogged 2.6 miles and feel great! I read somewhere about a study involving mice.  Somehow, the mice were all given cancer-I don't recall how that was possible or even what kind of cancer it was.  Well, the control group was not allowed to exercise on one of those spinning wheels you always see at the pet stores.  The experimental group was allowed and encouraged to run to their hearts content.  The results?  The mice that ran showed a much slower progression of their cancer than the couch potato mice did.   Now, whether we can extrapolate these results to the human condition may be another story.......

    Love you ladies,

    Cathy

I got the "March" part right

I got the "March" part right - LOL!!  I knew I had gall stones many, many years before they ever bothered me from a stomach ultrasound but when they started to bother me they were very painful!!

This chemo brain is awful!  At the last week of every month I pay our bills for the next month.  There are not a lot since most are paid automatically through direct withdrawl.  As they come in each month I either record them in our checkbook (if they're paid automatically) or put them in a folder for me to write out the check.  At the end of January, I wrote out the checks, put them in envelopes, stamped them and PUT THEM BACK IN THE FOLDER!!  I never mailed them!!!  So, last week, when I took out the folder for the March bills, there are all my February bills including the lake taxes which were due January 31st!  The rest were "just" some medical bills.  I was sooooo mad at myself!!  Now we're going to have to pay interest on the taxes which are high enough already.  I would have sworn I mailed those bills!  Just like I would have sworn I did NOT pay the rent on our business building TWICE in December....but I did Cry  The worst part is that it makes me second guess everything I do now.  The ONLY thing that made me feel better was our son made a mistake this week when he was doing payroll (I caught it before the checks were printed).  I tried to console myself with "If a 23 year old can make honest mistakes, so can I.  It doesn't mean I'm losing my mind."  That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

Good luck with all your doctoring, Moli!!  Keep us informed on how it goes!!!

    Love,

    Eldri

    What a great idea!

I wish I would have thought of it when I had my surgery. I would love to get rid of this belly especially as, since my hysterectomy, one side is bigger that the other!

I hope everything is going well with your move, it can be such an ordeal. Love, Sandy

    Surgery

I have it marked on my calender Moli!  I have that date already marked since it is mt DIL's birthday!  Have the gall bladder out if you can, those things cause such misery!  I had my first attack at age 16 and didn't have it out til I was 46! Do what you can to feel better since even if you have no problem, it is still pulling your health down.  I will be waiting on "the gory details" and thinking  of you on the 15th and always!  Debra

    Sandy, thanks for th boost.

I thought I was the only one with a crooked canopy, lopsided in deed Lol. It is not late to do an apronectomy Sandy,When our life is threatened we gravitate to quality of life.No need to keep hating my belly everytime I get out of the shower, pondering how and why it came to be in 6 short years. The gift of stress and depression I suppose.

See how I convienently left out the see food eat food part of the story ?

I had no chance to get rid of it at time of surgery because I had a traditional vaginal total hys.

Now they must open my abdomen so bye bye belly. Moving!! oh tedious, no one should move after age 45, honestly. Thanks for well wishes

Moli , plenty love my oh so sane sister.

I don't like to trouble things thats not troubling me but I have always dreaded kidney and gall stone nightmere.I have seen it at it's worst.

Knew you'd remember , If the date changes because of my late request or status  changes I shall die, oops!!(better not say that word) ok I shall not die but l shall pass out briefly, that's it ,that's all I'll do.
