Vectibix/Low ejection fraction rate

Is anyone on Vectibix? My brother has been on it for a few months and is having issues with a rash, which is much worse than the Erbitux rash he once had. He's on best friends terms with his dermatologist these days. But worse, his magnesium is very low. He's had to have several magnesium infusions over the last couple of weeks. I was away for 2 weeks, and of course, all this happened during my vacation to visit the grandchildren. Now his onc is on vacation so I have to wait to talk to his oncologist.  Tomorrow we go to his cardiologist for an echo to check on his heart function, so we'll have to see what he thinks about this whole mess. He goes back to his oncologist next week. I wonder if they will switch his meds again.

Took my brother to his cardiologist today. The echo showed that his ejection fraction rate is only 33%, which is back down. The doctor think he'll have to come off the Vectibix and possibly switch to another chemo. The cardiologist and oncologist need to talk, but I'm guessing they'll let his body rest for a short period to heal the rashes and then will begin a new chemo. I hope there's another chemo that won't affect his heart so much. I am sure the doctor will call me this week to discuss.
