I faxed my path report to the Oncologists office.  I emailed my path report as well.

They said he is "reviewing" it for the last 2 weeks.  Secretary said he is very selective

in who he will see.  I have insurance.  I thought it would be good to make contact in

case I need surgery it is local to family.

Seems to be odd an entire department cannot make an appointment.  Has anyone

ever experienced this?  I realize nothing to be done now but are they not a for profit

institution?

       Thanks,

    I called Dr. Paul Russo's

I called Dr. Paul Russo's office at MSKCC directly on May 2, 2014, and I was given an appointment on May 9, 2014.  It was easy.  I told them I needed a second opinion because my local urologist recommended a radical nephrectomy.  My surgery was scheduled for July 11, 2014. Dr. Russo's number is 646-422-4391 .  Have you tried calling, or are you relying on e-mail and facsimile?  I would call.
