    Dreading this moment

I haven't been checking daily, too afraid of what I would see.  Craig was wonderful, a great example of how to live with this disease.  He did so much to uplift us all.  He will be sorely missed. I am so happy he's no longer in pain and now soaring with the angels.  My condolences to Kim and the family.  May the many happy memories you have of Craig bring you peace.  Traci

I have not been on the site for a long time. Oddly, it popped up on my phone. I guess it was meant for me to know of

the sad news. I have great memories of meeting Craig at the colon palooza in Chicago. I wish him peace and rest. My thoughts are with you too Kim.

    Sorry

Just was very sad to come back on the boards after my brother's passing to find this.  Just wasn't expecting this as he just had surgery.  Wishing his family the comfort they deserve.  Craig was a great friend, supporter and contributor to this board.  I'm sorry that his presence will never be here again, however, he forever lives through our memories.

    Love you guy!  Kim

I have been away from the forum for a little while. And I'm saddened to reconnect and read about Craig's passing. He was a special person with a gift of writing. And he did touch my heart through his words and experiences. God Bless you Craig and thank you for sharing so much with us.

My prayers are with all his family and friends today. And I will surely be praying with all during his wake and funeral service.

    Be at Peace - Craig

My sincere condolences to Kim and all that loved him. Hmm, I wonder how many friends from the other side helped Craig pull off that grand exit.  A grand exit for a grand man. He will definitely be missed.

    Craig

Only a few of you will remember me. My sister (Brenda 3_16 ) passed away from cc in 2011. I have checked in from time to time on each of you. I am so sad tohear this news. He was a true leader in this group and was full of good advice and kind words.  I am sad and will keep all in my prayers.:(

Condolences to his loving wife Kim and family

He was such a presence on this board.  Craig, thank you for your kindness, support and advice to me and many others as we struggled with this disease.  I hope you are now free of pain and at peace.  A wise soul.

    Dear Craig

Dear Craig,  I can't believe you're gone.  I just can not.  Your strength, love, courage, and sense of community will live on in all of those who know/knew you, including those who get to know you through your writing, perhaps years later.  You fought long and hard and suffered a great deal.   I am glad you are no longer suffering but very sad that you had to go.  Oh, Craig, I wish for you peace and happiness in whatever World there is afterwards.  I hope that Sundance is with you too.  So sad, my Friend, to see you go. Such a gifted Writer.  May your words live on and we find comfort in them.

Dear Kim,  I am so very sorry for your loss of your Husband.   He was so loved here as you well know.  My heart aches for you.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  I am so glad you and Craig had each other.  I know that to love much is to hurt that much more.  It is hard.

~Aud    Holding us all in the Light for comfort, peace, and Love.

    :(

I haven't logged in here in a while...just got caught up with so many things. My friend, who was going to be 30 this May just died this Friday. She had Crohn's and complications came after each and she just gave up the fight. Then today is Mother's day and I am missing my Mom more than ever..and now I am reading that poor Craig has left us. So not far. Life is so not fair! I am very sad, and I wish I was more here to be with Craig here too. He was an amazing person! He was the leader on this board with his inspiration, encouragement, and great fight! He showed (I think to all of us) what a fight is, and how to live life to its fullest and try to see the best of everything. I have a ton of mixed emotions and not sure I can sort them out right now, so I wouldn't sound to coherent if I continued. But I wish Craig a great journey up there, I will definitely ask my Mom to find him, and maybe my parents, Craig and my friend who just left also can meet up there and have a good time. I am sure Craig will only say good stuff. He just can't be in another way...he was just that great...

    Craig

I haven't been here in a long time until a few days ago.  I had wondered why Craig hadn't come over for a visit in a while.  I am so sorry for his family.  This is a tremendous loss of a great man.

Craig was kind and supportive to me more than once.  His words were wise.  I will mis him as so many others.

    Farewell Craig!

    Soar High Roaring Lion

I  rarely read these posts anymore but felt a pull today when I landed in Japan to see how Craig was doing. As I started reading Craigs lasts posts my heart just broke. His words all these years have been so powerful and moving, and the thought that there will no longer be long posts from The Roaring Lion just leaves me in tears.

Your videos, posts and your magazine story will live on forever Craig.  Your compassionate writings have touched so many lives, thank you for sharing your beautiful soul with the world.

Rest in peace, free from pain Big Billy. You fought a great battle and gave so much to so many.  I hope the first soul that greeted you as you left this world was your precious sister with your beloved dog Sundance by her side.

All our thoughts and  prayers go out to Kim, Harley, and the many friends you gave so much to, that are left behind with broken hearts.
