I smelled trouble (tongue NOT in cheek)

Was out for most of the day at a crew meet. Notorious for porta Johns running out of toilet paper. Notorious for the local Starbucks

running out of everything - food, toilet paper, towels. So before I left our hotel I tucked the remains of a small roll of toilet paper in my jacket and waited in

line to finally come to the conclusion that I had to pee. OK, well let's try to introduce some food and see what happens. SUre enough

just like a baby's gastro-colic reflex, I felt the rumbles start and got back in line at the Starbucks that I had left 15 minutes before.

Yes another line. But by this time they had repopulated the toilet paper and paper towel dispensers.  I knew afternoon races would be

starting soon so this was my opportunity to clear the way for happy spectating...even with some snacking later and finishing off the Chai

that I had bought. When I returned to my spouse I got the expected look - "were you successful" ?  and not "where were you for the last

    hour and ...whatever.

    Ha

I work in a warehouse. I bring an entire change of clothes AND four sets of appliance.  On a good day I have just what I need. On bad days I end up going home and have a mulligan. On my worst day I repeated that process. Thankfully work is really understanding and I only had to do that once.

Sounds like you have the same good fortune of having understanding coworkers.

I used to worry that all these bad things might happen. Now that they all have happened, it is all a walk in the park. The only way things could be worse than anything that has happened is if I passed out during a huge blowout or my small intestine pushed out of my ostomy and exited my body. So really it's all good. Since there is an extremely low probability that either of those would happen, I am good.

Here is to being able to laugh at the things we go through, at least some day!

    My coworkers have no

My coworkers have no idea!!!!!!  I work in a building with 14 floors and we are all spaced about 20 feet apart except for the attorneys in the offices behind me (who got an earful the other day).  The other secretaries just hear me say "I"LL BE RIGHT BACK".  I zoom past everyone by sticking to the wall so they can't smell me and I run to the private bathroom which is by the private stairs.  Talk about a well designed building!  lol  So far I have not run into anyone on the private stairs, knock on wood!  Most of us use the public stairs between floors.

So glad you brought this up!

I've been getting all sorts of tips.  I've two 2-day meetings coming up in the next two weeks that I have to fly to.  I'm thinking of cleaning myself out, a la Laz, so I don't have to worry about it while traveling or in all day meetings, especially since I'm the chair for the second one and can't get up and leave or adjust my backed up poop!

By the way, I've had a couple of near mishaps--one at home thankfully.  I thought I had bad gas and my bag was filling with air.  Wrong!  The bag was so full it was hard to get off without spilling all over.  Somehow I managed.  The other was on the way back from Vegas.  We had just gone through security and I went to the restroom and low and behold my wafer had come unsealed in one spot and no spares in my purse!  I cleaned out as best I could and used some wet wipes in the hole to plug it.  Thank goodness it wasn't active and it was a short flight.  I don't want to go through that again.
