I believe it is at 12:30 CT today. We should all be keeping him in our thoughts and prayers for the next few hours for a successful surgery and uneventful speedy recovery and that he retains his new refound appetite.
Looked to be 12:30 CST. He was here this morning and hungry a couple of hours before it. Waiting for his next post and details of a good post surgery meal :)
Today I will be thinking about nothing but sending you positive peeing thoughts, not only do you think you can, you will.
Wishing I could take your pain away with a magic wand my friend, I so do wish this, but since I can't, I'll just pray to the powers that be that they can lessen it.
Stay strong, you CAN and WILL make it through this.
I am so very very happy to hear your story!! Praying for you every day Craig. You are such a strong fighter! Blessed for sure to have gotten your surgery and food intake! Wishing you the best days ahead for recovery and strength.
Another prayer and best wish answered.....I begged to the ceiling and above loudly and was able to go well...yea!
swoed nurse that I could and that walking standing was good...told her it would be just like this at home only without audience in room.
shell make notes and told her to put it in for discharge tomorrow
I hope to be leaving then....I've passed the tests no reason to stay here.....so tomorrow barring issues wish it were now.....I miss home like never before.
keeep it up cause I'm not home yet....were doing great
I'm so happy to hear you've conquered some of the challenges. I'm keeping positing peeing...pooping...etc. thoughts. Here's hoping that you have hurdled and conquered all the obstacles standing in your way to go home! I hope you will soon be snoozing in your own sheets!
I'm glad you peed and hoping to go home tomorrow. You were prayed for at church today (along with all of the others) and glad that you got some good things going today. Hoping that your recovery is fast and you gain back some of your strength. Try and go poopies too as bowels always shut down after surgery so maybe you could take some miralax for a couple days. So happy that things seem to be going in the right direction. Hope you get to sleep in your own bed tomorrow.
The good Lord will listen and respond to anything. I remember praying for that first fart after surgery. I was desperate to be allowed something by mouth (even if it was gross, and it was).
We will also respond to anything, because we've pretty much all been through some kind of surgery and know what you're going through.
So happy to hear that things are progressing in the right direction. May you soon be driving in the right direction - home -.
I know how awful it is being in the hospital, but it is sometimes the right place for us as we work on healing.
I know I went home too soon once, and as a result got to enjoy a ride back the next day via 9-11. I would generally recommend avoiding that if at all possible. :)
Sending lots of hope for things to keep improving your way~AA
I just said another special prayer for you and I have been praying everyday. My husband got bowl movement after the surgery with lots of prayers, this definitely shortened his hospital stay. Hang on there. You have our prayers.
Glad to hear you're home safe and sound. Hope they get the pump meds adjusted so you can start regaining that strength. This was really good news. Traci
