SCREW the Powerball...!

Hi, all,

I was just feeling philosophical... I would be lying if I said that I didn't care about the Powerball... When it's THIS high, you gotta throw $20 bucks at it...

But on the other hand, we shouldn't get "luck" twisted around... the fact that we are all alive and some of us had the "luck" to have our cancer caught early or we are experiencing positive treatments... that's something all the money in the world can't buy.  Cancer is the great "equalizer;" it's random, in every country, in every age group, and every financial group.  $500 million can't buy peace of mind and it can't buy your way out of dealing with cancer.

So let's thank the real "luck" that keeps us here, still kickin' cancer's a$$.

    so true, so true

So if you win the $500 million just send it to me over the border in Maryland and I'll be happy to carry the burden for you.

No need to thank me, thats just the type of greedy bas selfless individual I am.

    Interesting topic. . .

Well, I'm hoping to win. We discussed this at length today after school (I'm a teacher). Many of us agreed we'd be out of there so fast. I, on the other hand, was not so sure. I would probably work one day a week. Here is what I do know for sure:

#1: We would extensively re-model our existing house. We love our neighborhood too much to move.

#2: A chef would be hired first.

    #3: Followed by a driver.

#4: My husband would buy the most expensive,  mid-life crisis vehicle he wanted

#5: I would immediately schedule a plastic surgery consultation with Dr. Debroux from reality TV. I'd get extensive liposuction and bigger boobs.

#6: I'd give a lot of money away to charity. I'd potentially look into working for fundraising for Kidney Cancer research.

    #7: Season tickets (football)

    #8: Season tickets (baseball)

    #9: A diswasher

    #10: Dogs. Several.

Me.  I would love to win and

Me.  I would love to win and if I did...

    1.  Remodel house.  I am paying it off this month and live on 46 acres out in the middle of no where.  My parents and sister have houses out here as well.

    2.  Probably go part time on my job.  I would not quit completely.  I love my job and the people I work with.

    3.  Pay off the rest of my bills/ help out some in family

    4.  Hire a housekeeper

    5.  Charity work

    6.  Spoil grandkids - I have 2 and 1 more due next month.

    7.  Travel

    8.  Get internet at home

    9.  New cars for son and daughter in law

    10. Pay off parents house
