Symptoms of Cervical Cancer....

Hello everyone! I come sending well wishes to all. I had a cone biopsy (conization) over 7 yrs ago for an abnormal pap. Now I'm having syptoms of cervical cancer. I had a supracervical hysterectomy in 12/2009 still having my cervics in place. What if any were the symptoms that you experienced before being diagnosed? I have been having a watery discharge with some brownish traces of blood. Also vaginal pain and spotting after sex. Can anyone shed some light on my situation. I have an appointment with my OB/GYN today but I'm scared! Embarassed

    Swill1971, I am sorry I am

Swill1971, I am sorry I am not a cervical cancer patient, but I see you have gone to a gyn my recommendation is to see what you are dealing with first.  Try not to get too far ahead yourself here.  If it turns out to be serious make sure you are being treated by a gynecological oncologist.  They specialize in gynecological cancers.

    Waiting on results

Good morning No Time For Cancer. Thanks for responding. Your right, I do need to slow down on worring and just wait. I went to my OB/GYN yesterday. Just waiting on test results. Thanks again for your recommendations. Good health to you!

    Waiting is the worst part

Waiting is the worst part anytime!!!!!  If I didn't say it, try to stay off the internet - there is crazy (and usually OLD) information out there.  This thread can be a little slow, so please don't abandon it too fast.  There are some super women on here.

I hope things turn out well

I hope things turn out well for you.  Waiting is the hardest part.  My symptoms of cervical cancer started with bleeding after intercourse, then fatigue, then watery discharge, and finally a foul smelling discharge.    I was diagnosed at stage 2a.  Hopefully there is a simple explanation for your symptoms.  Let us know how things turn out.  Hugs.

    Any news on your results?

Hi There, I was wondering if you have heard back? I've been through cervical cancer, adenocarcinoma and my anxiety was as bad as the physical if not worse. The waiting and not knowing can drive you crazy so doing things to distract yourself is a great idea. Keep us posted.
