Worried! I need help.

help! I am freaking out. I was recently in the hospital due to fever chills and pain, I was told I had a UTI I stayed over night it the hospital because when I was younger I was diagnosed with ITP low platelet count so my spleen was removed and it helped a lot never again did I have low platelet count okay so I stayed overnight due to the fact of not having a spleen which means weak immune system a day after I went home and had my doc appt she told me I showed signs of being a little anemic she sent me home with antibiotics to keep treating my uti after I had no symptoms just fatigue but im a mom of 3 and a student im only 24yrs old so fatigued is normal later that week my doc called telling me I had an elevated wbc so she sent me to a hematologist/cancer center. I spoke with the doc about it she asked if I had any symptoms like night sweats, weight loss, fatigue, And I Really never had any of that she felt for swollen lymph and said she didn't feel any she also said patients with who had itp and spleenectomy usually have higher wbc she also mentioned I was showing somewhat high wbc since 2011 so she sent for a CBC and a test to examine my white blood cells she said her suspicion was very low. Results of the cbc came in and she said everything was normal the other test im still waiting on the results maybe getting them by mon-tue. I been driving myself sick I hardly sleep. Anyone had this happen to them??

Hi sweetie, I've had high WBC

Hi sweetie, I've had high WBC count for few years now. I was finallyalso sent to hemotologist/ oncologist as they've told you there is one specific cancer it could be low chance, they've sent for pathology everything came back normal. I still have elevated WBC they've been high for sometime. Over two years now. I dont have any other health problems. ive had issues and two surgeries for large fibroids, thats all. She said could be stress related - my Wonderful Dad was diagnosed with cancer and passed away within 13 months... I'm sorry with everything you're going through, butplease try to relax as much as it's possible. It's not easy one bit, I know. Hoping you will be happy with clean results. You already have your hands full, please take deep breaths so you don't end up feeling more sick physically and emotionally.

    Lots of love...

Well im glad everything is well with you. And I should totally just relax and try to think positive. The fact that I am a mother of 3 and having to be told I have some sort of cancer would be devastating. I will try and stay away from google as well that just feeds my anxiety. I will pray for it all to be normal. And im sorry for your loss. Thanks for the support.

Hi Saray24.  Gosh, you have 3 children and go to school - "fatigue" is probably your middle name ! ;).  Please let us know the results and I wish you luck.  You are not alone here.

    Hugs,

    Jim

    Yes !

    Saray24,

Like everyone here I a am wishing you well, and negative results.

You mentioned one thing that I love: Staying away from Google.  Except for ACADEMIC sites (sites run by medical schools) what you will encounter there would be a mix of magic elixers and visitors from Mars.

    Awaiting results,

    max

    Yep Saray24
    I welcome you too

    Yep Saray24

I welcome you too ! Wish you didn't have to come here but this is place has awesome ppl to help support and listen. Stay strong and keep hope. You will be ok no matter what. I am also a Mom of three and I just welcomed a great son in law into our family . I believe there is amazing strength that comes from moms. Just because.

When I was lying in the middle of the intersection with a helicopter and paramedic all I could say was plz don't let me die....i have three kids. He promised he wouldn't and he didn't.  When my oncologist said the cancer was indeed back. All I could think of was "I have to many years ahead to watch my kids grow into wonderful futures  and be the awesome grandma .

Stay focused and strong....because you are.
