Weekend Adventures?

My son takes the SAT at 7:30 in the morning (what kind of psycho plans a test arrival at 7:30 on a Saturday?) and needs a ride since we couldn't find a local location.  Other than that, just me sipping on some almond milk by the garden and enjoying Mr. Sunshine (from under a really big hat!).

Lots of motorcycle, ATV, mountain bike riding. Maybe look at some waterfront property with my wife just for fun and an excuse to go for a ride. We might get crabcakes on the way for this little seafood shack.

    Just a normal day...

I'm just excited that there's only fun stuff happening... Yoga, brunch and Italian lessons. No doctors, no work. Maybe a little shopping and a little laundry. Definitely sleeping past 6:30. Laughing

    Food, parade, dancing, games

Our little town has its annual Basque Festival. It starts with a run (no, I will not be running), parade, Basque dancers coming in from all over, Basque games, food (can we say Chorizos). The weather is perfect, with temps forecast in the high 80's.

I'm really looking forward to enoying this year, as I missed it last year.

    car shopping

Plan A was to go car shopping with my husband, but they asked him to work. I will have to go with Plan B: I go car shopping and he earns overtime money so we can afford a car.

    Me, being Mr. Excitement, We

Me, being Mr. Excitement, We are planning on painting our living Room!   Woo Hooo!  It has been a two year project painting and decorating the house.  We are hoping to be close to finishing by the end of the weekend.  (I know we are really exciting people. lol)

My sister and her husband are coming to visit in 2 1/2 weeks.  We must have the house finished by then. (or at least really close.) We just had the second bathroom rebuilt.

We will also go to the Farmer's market and hopefully the Strawberry festival!  (Strawberry, Arizona)

    Best Always, mike

    Nephew is graduating,

and we are heading back to my home town for the party.  Brother and SIL split up unexpectedly last year, and former SIL is getting remarried already (hmm, have to wonder if that was she suddenly left my brother).  Fiance will be there so our side of the family is showing up in force to show support (for bro, not fiance).

    Should be interesting!

Basque festival sounds fun, btw, trubrit...have fun!

And good luck to your son on the SATs, Helen.  Or I guess I should say hope he did well, given the time!

    SAT and Grandbabies
My twins took the SAT too on Saturday. They went through a SAT boot camp class all week first. Saturday afternoon went to Chattanoogo to see my grand babies girls. They are the sweetest babies in the world! 11 days old yesterday. Today I will be packing all day, moving next Saturday. Hubby and I have been living apart Monday -Friday and we finally sold the house and will be living all together next week - finally! Now why won't all this stuff just jump in a box for me, ugh!

Thanks. He isn't sure how he did so we'll just have to wait for results. My BIL did the exact same thing. I think it's hurtful to remarry so quickly. Good show of support!
