It hasn't been asked in quite a while so . . . Any plans for this weekend?

    Monday is Moving Day!

We were supposed to move today, but my MIL died earlier this week (at almost 99), so we had to go out of town.  On Monday, we move to a beautiful new house on a lake - kayaking in my own yard!  Can't wait!  However, still lots of packing to do this weekend.

    I went mountain biking Friday

I went mountain biking Friday and Saturday. I went for a motorcycle ride yesterday and then my wife and I spent the rest of the day with our animals watching the NBA playoffs and had a great Korean dinner (She is Korean) and I adore her.

Oh it was SEXAY!  lol  We had such a great time!  The best thing about drinkers is they think they sound fabulous.  Also the birthday boy is so funny, he just made the night ridiculously fun.

Can I come to your house to recuperate from my liver resection? HA!

I Love your Red-bellied Woodpecker, too. I'm an avid birdwatcher, and would love to know what else you see around your house. Do you get Loons on the lake? Oh, to sit on your balcony and listen to Loons call. Heavenly!

I pray that you will enjoy many years of joy in your new home.

    No loons around here

But we've had red-bellies, downies, hairies, and pileated woodpeckers; titmice, juncos, nuthatches, goldfinch, house finch, chickadees, eagle, osprey, many different ducks, both dabbling and diving, cardinals, grackles, robins, crows.  It is wonderful!

Come on by!  You'd have to recuperate here; this is good for whatever ails you!

    Oh, how wonderful that sounds.

I've never been 'back east' so I've never seen a Cardinal.

Pepe! Good to see you. I really hope the cyber knife solves the problems. I've heard very good stories about positive results when it's used. May you have a relaxed weekend so that you are fully rested for healing next week.

PS  Helen, are you going to do another thread for this weekend?  It's a nice idea (and thanks to Pepe for coming up with it in the first place).

Going to church on Sunday, tomorrow getting my hair cut.  It's longer than I've kept it in a while so I'm not sure if I'm going to get it cut short like before or just keep it a little longer.  A Little longer to me is only three hair curler rolls in the back instead of one LOL.  You girls know what I'm talking about.  I'll decide when getting there.  Have one son coming over for his birthday dinner (burritos and potato pancakes) - really that's what you want :) and going over to another son's house to scout out possible flooring options for the kitchen.  Just bunches of things to do.  Everyone keep it safe.

    Maid of Honor

My cousin is getting married and I am the maid of honor...which is really cool because there was a time when I couldn't even walk...and it means the world to me to be there for her. She cared for my children for six months while I was two hours away in the hospital. She's like my sister. I can even stand up totally straight and get to wear high heels..first time since surgeries...little things THRILL ME LOL..Oh, and my daughter is going to her first formal dance. Oh my gosh, she looks so lovely..and grownup. Dark silver dress, sparkly shoes and necklace...and we adopted a little dog we named Ruby Tuesday. She's so funny and teeny tiny. We have to buy her a cat collar she's so small. Sunday, I'm sleeping!

    Congrats on all of that!

Congrats on all of that! Walking is  great thing. You must be very special to her to do all of that. Family love is great. My daughter's first prom I wanted to cry. They grow up so fast.
