Yes, you read that correctly! TWO events in one season for anal cancer survivors and their loved ones!  We are delighted to announce we will be hosting a meet and greet in Houston, Texas and our second educational forum will be held in San Francisco, California!

On March 22, 2013 the HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation will have a table at MD Anderson’s 9th Annual S.C.O.P.E. 5K in Houston, Texas.  If you are attending the event or in the area, come see us!  After the run, we will host a meet and greet lunch for survivors.

Our second spring survivor event is an educational forum.  The Foundation is sponsoring the event with the UCSF Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center and cordially invites all survivors to join us for an evening of discussion that focuses on the quality-of-life concerns that arise after treatment for anal cancer.  We will hear from a panel of experts, which will include medical professionals, advocates and survivors.

    Events

I would love to attend one or both of these.  However, neither is in my immediate area and out of reach for me.  I hope someday there will be a similar event somewhere in the Southeast.

    Me too.......

I was all excited when I saw the initial post and would love to go, but it is also out of reach at this time for me as well. Wisconsin is a long way from both California and Texas, but maybe someday!
