    I miss her so much

    I feel like I'm walking around in a daze. There are so many things that need to get done and I don't feel like doing anything. I hate staying home, I see her stuff everywhere. I don't feel like going out either. I just want to sleep, but I can't. It doesn't seem real. I expect to see her on the couch, I expect to wake up next to her in the morning. I can't believe she's gone.

    Those are all normal feelings after such a devastating loss. I lost my first wife 15 years ago when I was only 34 years so I do understand your emotions.

    So sorry to hear that your wife passed away. It is terrible!!!!! I have no words that can express how horrible this is. I wish you strength! Lots of it! And be patient, it takes time...a long one! But try to remind yourself always how your wife would love to see you- that might help you to live a bit of a better life, even though right now it seems impossible. And please, do visit us here, we are all here and ready to help you in any way we can!

    When we loose our spouse, all we can do is try to remember all the good times of the past.  The hurt will soften, but never end until you join her in heaven. My sincere condolences.

    I want to thank each and everyone of you for love, support and prayers I have been blessed with by the beautiful people on this board. I will get through this. I know Donna would not want me to spend the rest of my life grieving. I will go on and be the best man I can be. That I think, is the best way to honor her life.

             The viewing is tomorrow night and the burial is friday morning. I picked a beautiful spot right next to a little church. I also bought the plot next to her so we can be next to each other forever. Thank you all so much. You have helped over the past sixteen months so much. So many beautiful angels here. God Bless you all.
