Stopping by

Hi sweet friends,

Just stopping by to say hello and wish you all a very happy healthy new year ahead.

I try to keep up with all of you, but find myself tired and overwhelmed at times. My fatigue seems to still rule over me, but I do my best to keep going and keep my spirits up. Some days are a bit harder than others, but maybe age is a factor in this.

Having some good peaceful down time at home, the trips across country have really exhaused me.

Struggling some with the fear of the unknown, but I mostly stand strong.

Looking forward to our new grandbaby due in a few months. Babies bring such joy and happiness.

Hugs to all

Lisha

    Hi Lisha!

Good to hear from you and happy New Year to you also!  Congratulations on the new grandchild.  Hopefully things will slow down some and you won't have to travel quite so much.  I still deal with fatigue also but I do have good days now and I can make it through the day without having to nap.  That's certainly better than a year ago.

You are strong and I hope things get better.  I know you - when that baby comes, you're gonna be a proud grandmother again!

Hugs and sweet wishes for you,

    Jim

    Congratulation!

    Hi Lisha,

A new baby for the new year...how wonderful for you! Our newest great grandson will a year old on March 5th and I can't believe how fast the year has gone. He is just starting to pull up on things, so walking is the next step. I'm sorry your 49er's lost the game, but being a Seahawk fan, I'm very happy for us! We got lucky yesterday, but a win is a win and we will take it and be happy! Now it's on to the super bowl! Smile I have a heart test coming up on Feb 4th which I'm a little anxious about, but trying to think positive thoughts. My CT scan last April showed some calcification in the main artery in my stomach, so they will be doing 3 ultra sounds...legs, stomach and neck, checking the blood flow. Worst case I may have to get a stent put in, but won't know until the tests are done. Then the first week of April I'll get my yearly CT scan done with a follow up 2 weeks later with my Onc..blood draw, etc, so I'm just praying everything is still stable. It's been a good year though and I feel fine, other than a little fatigue now and then, so hopefully that's a sign that all is still well. You rest up and get ready for that new baby...the joy will be boundless. I know it was for me! Take care sweetie and keep in touch. Much love...Sue

    Hi Lisha

    Hi Lisha,

Nice to hear from you, congratulations on your new grandbaby! Babies bring so much joy and hope, it gives us something to look forward to. I'm not a grandmother yet but I've had children and I remember how I loved it when they were small and how they smelled. Hope your fatigue gets better with time, you just need to take more down time for yourself and relax. Take it easy sweetie and will be thinking of you! (((Hugs)))

    Sincerely,

    Liz
