Perhaps Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia

NCI Cancer Center and also has an Institute for Personalized Medicine to conduct treatment based on the genetic makeup of an individual patient’s tumor. Is she seeking a second opinion?

My sister was recently treated there for breast cancer and was very pleased with the care she got. I know a few other people who were treated there and were pleased . The down side is that it's in the center of the city and not the most convenient location to get to. Fox Chase Cancer Center advertises a lot in the Philly metro area. I could be mistaken but I believe they're connected with Cancer Centers of America.

I was treated for my cancer at the cancer center of Chester County, which is connected with Chester County Hospital. My oncologists were terrific, the surgeons top notch and experienced, and the hospital itself is a great place to be if you happen to be so unlucky to have to be in the hospital. The nursing staff is terrific and caring, the facilities up to date and have all the equipment for testing, etc.

I had a friend that went to Fox Chase Cancer Center ...

it is not associated with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America which is a private, for-profit organization that has had some controversy through the years. FCCC is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Smaller cancer centers can certainly provide a warmer touch than a large hospital.  It sounds as if you have found a great place for your care.
