sorry - if I am a bit rowdy, but I need to keep those nurses and staff on their toes!  Bringing enough alcohol for everyone, and a few snacks.

    Lobster Rolls?

I will bring Lobster Rolls.  I am having my treatment of Taxol tomorrow.  They usually give me a sandwich, fruit cup, chips, chocolate chip cookie, ginger ale or water.  Usually I sleep or read.

So I will the there in my thoughts and hope the whole procedure will go fast and uneventful.

Usually for me it takes 4 hours.  The first time, they stop after giving you so much and wait to see if you have a reaction, if you don't, they hook you up again.  It might take a little longer.

    Best wishes,

    Doris

Robert, I missed the bus, but

I am sending a lot of positive thoughts your way. Dear Robert, first let me say that I am very very sorry for this new diagnosis. I hope you are coping ok with all this. And I hope that the chemo wasn't too hard on you.

    Hugs, Carmen

Robert, I missed the bus, but

Robert, I missed the bus, but you know I was there!  Been feeling a bit off (cold and possibly another outbreak of shingles...sigh).  I had chemo today (herceptin and perjeta).  It works well (NAED), but I am pooped today.  Big hugs and prayers that all has gone well.  Keep in touch!

I am so sorry I missed the bus. I hope your day went as well as could be.

I just got a new cookie cookbook, next time we'll try a few of those recipes.

    Big hugs,

    P.S.

I bumped into a couple of interesting articles about how isolating breast cancer can be and I thought that I might share.  I am so glad you are present on the board!  Until my favorie male pediatrician (back in ~1990) disclosed his awful family hisory of breast cancer, I had no idea it was a male disease.  It is so important to get your point of view because there are other men out there afraid and alone.  Kudos for your bravery!
