I was just wondering what some of you think about generic daily vitamins (like the Wal-Mart Brand) vs. a name brand daily vitamin (like One A day). I know there might be a difference in fillers, but wonder if it is worth the extra money to get a name brand. I checked labels and they have the same amount of vitamins and minerals.

I am just curious.

Thanks.

I talked to endocrinologist about this.
She told me to go to gnc. According to her, some just do not absorb or disolve. They may have the same amount of vitamins in then, but it comes.down to the binding agents. She didnt even reccommend the name brands. She said gmc.
So that is what I did. Figured she knows her stuff and my body does not absorb a lot of the med she also has me taking magnesium to help absorb. I wod check with your doctor and see what he/she thinks.

Thanks for the info. I planned on talking to my doctor next month when I see her for a check up, but just wondered what others know or heard.
