I will be going tomorrow for my second chemo treatment. I dread it. I did ok with the first, but am worried that with each one things could get worse. If anyone would like to pick me up on the pink bus, I would really love the ride! Thanks friends

    I will come along...

    Hi Dolores,

I will go on the pink bus to cheer you on.  I had my first treatment of cycle #4 today.  I know how you feel.  I have forgotten the name of your chemo.

I will bring some ginger ale as that is what they give me at the center.  I read somewhere that Canada Dry is th eonly kind of ginger ale with real ginger in it.  So I will bring that name brand along.

    Best wishes,

    Doris

    I'll be there with you.

I'll be there with you.  Maybe we can stop for massages to relax on the way back.

    And, just

    I will be there.

And, just to make you feel better, I have to share that I think I am actually doing better with each chemo.  I think some of it is learning how to manage side effects.  For example, I usually get diarrhea about 3-5 days after and immodium does nothing.  Onc gave me lomotil and one little pill and I have a normal day.  Many more examples.  Chemo is definitely a learning curve.

I am getting a little more tired after 4 chemos, but, overall, I am rebounding faster.

    Hang in there!

    Thank you friends. To make

Thank you friends. To make matters worse, after my treatment tomorrow I have to drive an hour to my daddy. His wife passed away this evening. Please keep my family in your prayers and pray that the nausea med zofran does not give me a headache tomorrow like the first time as I need to be with my family. God bless.

    Thanks again, Dolores
