    yummy

You know, once upon a time I was fishing in Alaska on a live-aboard.  We anchored for the night in a big cove, and the crew cleaned our fish and dropped the guts overboard.  An hour later I put o a jig and started jigging right there, in about 25 ft of water.  I must have caught a hundred of them.  Not very big, never more than a couple of pounds.  Boy were they tasty.

    what?

    just what are those things?

They look like some nuked halibuts eating the gunk with heavy metals off the bottom of SF Bay. LOL

    Gulf Flounder

Similar to Halibut, but much smaller.... They have another type of flounder on the east coast of Florida that gets a lot bigger called Southern Flounder...

Just like Halibut, they start out like regular fish, eyes on opposite sides... Eventually the eys both migrate to the top side, bottom of the fish is snow white. Though thinner meat wise, you can get two fillets off of the white side also... Four fillets on each fish.

    Pat, you know they're tasty.....

    Creepy looking

Now I can never have gulf flounder....once I can put a positive i.d. and a face on it I can't eat it(excluding crappie). My best reason for living in MO. and never tasting catfish.

    Sugar, LOL... Yankee

    Sugar, what a Yankee.....

You should have skipped the butter and added milk, that would have truly been Yankee fare.

Butter is all that you should have added... Now of course in making them, you could have added shredded cheddar for some cheese grits that would have went excellently with those Perch...

I can call you a  Yankee as I'm a Damn Yankee... A Yankee that moves to Floirda, and stays...., LOL.

    Best Always ~ John
