    I understand your worries.  I

I understand your worries.  I too am new to this.  I had a bilaterial Mastectomy on 4/26/13, and I will start my Chemo treatment next week.  I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, stage 2 ER+ PR+ Her2-,  with 2 positive lymph nodes.  Please keep a positive aditude, that is half the battle.  Ask the Oncologest for website, books to learn as much as you need.  I myself have learned a lot from the pink sisters/brothers in this support group.  They are all amazing worriers.... One day at a time.... God Bless!... Kathy

My favorites:  Anticancer, a New Way of Life  by Dr. David Serban-Schribner.  The Breast Book by Dr. Susan Love.  And here's a great online freebie from the NCCN:  http://www.nccn.org/patients/patient_guidelines/breast/index.html

Welcome to our forum.  I hope you will be able to find information, experience, and the support you're looking for.

    Good book to help understand

I am new here too and the oncology nurse said to get Susan Love's Breast Book.  It helped me to understand what is going on and what treatments are available.  It also tells you about side effects and the future.
