Anyone hear from Phil lately?  It looks like the last we heard, he was going for tests.

    I went and checked his blog and his last entry was last week and it was about his liver surgery on 4/18.  I didn't know he was having surgery.  Anyway, his tests were very good and so they went ahead and scheduled the surgery.  He spent a couple weeks off chemo and really enjoyed himself attending plays, concerts, Tiger game,  etc.   Hopefully he checks in soon.

    You've got a lot going on too, Joe. (I visited caring Caring Bridge). Hope it's all going well. I'm interested as Steve may be doing the same procedure (providing he's a candidate) if surgery doesn't work out. Good luck.
