The Big Ag /Pharma Rider on a

The Big Ag /Pharma Rider on a Vetren budget bill.  The issue is the Vet Budget Bill part could be shut down and the rider enacted under the guise of a budget.  The Rider allows the use of GMOs and the Ag Department has the say if the public should know if their food is GMO or not, on a case by case basis. One person will have the control over if we get real food or not.  Luckily hardly any chance for corruption.   Is there not enough Cancer?

This is Take Part's web site and there is a petition to stop the GMO insanity.

You Say Monsanto, I Say Frankenfood

Where to begin? I'll just say that there are certain things that they should NOT mess with, our food is one of them.

There's also a situation where the Bee population is quickly dying off. Bees play an incredibly important part in the pollination of the World's food supply. We can't live without them yet M can put chemicals in the seed that wind up killing the Bees. All for profit...

It really doesn't matter which party is elected. Corporations write the laws that they have to follow and politicians are in their pockets.

I saw an interesting petition requiring politicians to wear Sponsor Badges like NASCAR Drivers do so we know who "owns" them!

    Mike

I sign all of these type petitions that I can. Thank you for posting this.

Sometimes I wonder how many people are unaware of what's going on. I think the number is frightfully high.

"Isn't there enough Cancer?" Apparently not...

    What is our health worth?

The President signed the "Monsanto Bill" and it did get enacted this morning. H.R. 933 was sold to the Sentate and the People as a Veterns Benefits package.

H.R.933 allows the Sec of Ag to decide if GMOs can be used in the food supply.  If the companies even must tell the public if they are selling GMOs.

The real scary part is the Sec of Ag gets to determine if Poluton from Big Ag is a liability.  His/her descision over rules the Federal Court. (Not the Supreme Court)  In essence the Sec of Ag can tell all of the people that got poisoned from the Army Training Base that the chemicals that poisoned them was really not that bad.

What is our health worth?  We need to take care of our selves and let everyone know that lack of good nutrition probaly caused a lot of our medical issues.

    Best Always, mike

OK I am off of the soap box.
