Calcium
I was wondering if anyone takes any kind of calcium other than the typical supplements: citrate, caltrate, etc.
I have not read much, but I read somewhere that excess calcium could increase strokes, heart attacks and accumulate in joints.
I try to eat all my calcium from my food, but it has become a challenge.
I have been having serious cramps in my leg that hurt a lot. In fact, I had one a couple of nights ago, and my leg’s calf hurt still. Apparently, leg camps can be cause by salt, potassium, calcium or any mineral deficiency.
Anyone taking natural calcium supplement? Knows what else can cause leg cramps?
I have an appointment with my PCP in a couple of weeks.

I take coral calcium
I find that this form of calcium helps with my leg pain, none of the others do. I also take a combination pill twice a day that has turmeric and bromelain in it. Bromelain helps I with pain and inflammation. You can't take it with blood thinners due to its blood thinning effects. Also it can make any prescription drugs stronger in your blood stream. These two items help with pain to the point of rarely needing to take anything else for my arthritis and leg pain.

Crazy home remedy
I know this is crazy but....
I put a bar of ivory soap in my bed and my leg cramps disappeared.
Nuts... yes. But if it works what do you have to lose? A bar of soap.
I have had friends do the same thing - and it has worked for all of them.
