Well after being denied for three months, I finally got approved for my Pet Scan, it didn't hurt that I have had a stiff neck for over a month now! lol...... I go Monday the 14th...... fingers and toes crossed! Vinny

    Your photos and animations are the neatest new thing here, well, maybe ever !  I think that is a possum ?  I'm not saying I live in a hillbilly area, but there is honest-to-goodness a Possum Kingdom community within ten miles of my house.

    Hi Max and Aaron,

    It's an opossum - actually a famous one named "Heidi" at a zoo in Germany.  Lots of videos of her on YouTube.   Unfortunately, she is not with us anymore but her personality is ;).

    I didn't do sock puppets but I did have fun with my nieces when they were little kids making paper bag monster faces.  I was in college then and when I'd come home, we would do silly things - well ones their parents would allow .  Now that we're older, I've done similar things with their kids like make silly faces on paper plates and rubber band them around our heads and scare each other ☺.  Silly guy, me.

    Hi Vinny,

      My stomach got a knot in it when I read you have been having a stiff neck.UGH! I'm soooo glad you are getting the PET scan done tomorrow! My CT scan will be done sometime in March after I finish my last Rituxan infusion on Feb 22nd. I'm trying to stay positive, but as we know...it's hell "not knowing" for sure that all is ok and then the agony while waiting for results. You know my prayers are with you my friend and I'll keep positive thoughts coming your way. Let us know as soon as you find out whats up.

    The crosseyed opossum and I are wishing you great news on your scan!

    Santa gave me a Kindle Fire 8.9 HD for Chrtistmas and though I love it, it isn't designed for the more "mature" user ;).  I think what I love most is the portability of it.  At least I'll have something better to occupy my tine dring medical visits.  I definitely need to get new glasses -lol.

    I just read your post today, Tuesday. Hopefully you will get the results asap. A stiff neck can come from anything. Riding in a car with the window open, sitting in a new position, etc. As you very well know, any change in our body is cause for concern. Having cancer or even in remission, sadly to say, our lives are never the same. I am so glad you didn't give up as far as getting a Pet Scan.
