    Hard to decide

There are so many options this weeked that it's difficult to make a choice.  It's snowing, so maybe some snow boading at the Olympic Village in Park City.  Or maybe pulling the jet out of the hangar and taking a couple of Playmates to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for some scuba diving and marlin fishing.  Of course I could also jet off the London to perform the role of Iago in Othello at the Old Globe.  Instead, I think I'll stay home and do the homework for next week's class.  (The new semester started this week.)  And trying to catch up on some sleep can be worked into that plan as well.

Enjoy Les Miserable, I'll wait for the DVD (even though I've got a huge crush on Anne Hathaway!)

Having a great time here. After 10 days (Delhi, Bikaner,Jaisalmer) we arrived today in Jodhpur where we are staying in the cute Durag Niwas Guesthouse (ask google). We will stay here for the werkend, then move on. India is so great and so we are doing fine. But thinking a lot of you all. Take care friends Petra.

lunch with friends from german clinic

so my family's week long holiday with friends at the beach has finished, yesterday we did boating and in the morning i got some vit c at the local hospital. the nurse said see you again next year. she was sweet. the doctor said i was the healthiest incurable patient he had seen. what a compliment.

The 4 hour drive home takes me past a couple of friends who i met at the clinic in germany, we can catchup and discuss our therapies over a healthy lunch of carrots and broccoli. its a chance for the families to meet for the first time.

I did my bloods and urine tests today, and see the onc monday lunchtime and surgeon tuesday morning. i will have the pet scan results from monday 8am and will know how well the german therapies have been working. so i am praying and have to focus on driving the family home anyway. these results are important for the direction of therapies.

    hugs,

    Pete

    India!

I did a similar trip - the towns are different colors. I remember Jaipur being red, one town was yellow, one was white, one was blue. Well not everything in the towns were those colors but a significant number of buildings had been painted in these tones. It was a wonderful trip.  When we went to the Taj Mahal, we stayed for two days and saw it at different times of the day - the marble changed colors depending on the sun. We even saw it at moonlight!

This weekend I'm not doing anything nearly that exciting, though. Am taking down the (real) Christmas tree, and a family member is coming over to help me sort stuff for a giveaway to goodwill.  A motto - if you haven't used something in two years, throw it out.  Helps reduce clutter.

    enjoy your trip!

    Just home from Phoenix, Arizona

So catching up on laundry and other necessaries.  Learning to live in a house with non-potable water, as our town is under "boil water" restrictions resulting from a water main break.  (More like you in India, Petra!)

I loved the desert - posted a picture of me next to a cactus in Expressions.  I also spent time with a friend from my college days.  I hadn't seen her in over 20 years.

    Antique Car Show

Going to an antique car show.  Went to church tonight so we are going to do some shopping tomorrow.  Just want to see that movie Les Mis so bad too.  Always loved it when Susan Boyle did that song and just blew the judges away.  Want to see what the movie is about.  Let me know if you like it.  My dad went last week to see it and although he knew the story before seeing the movie (which I'm not sure about) he loved it.  Hope you enjoy it.
