Six Month Testing

My wife is having her six month post treatment CT scan today. Anxiety again. She has been in remission since June. We have had repeated bouts with cellulitous due to all the lymph node removal. I am very worried somethong else is happening again. She started having pain three weeks ago in her hip and tailbone area. I am worried that since her cancer had mets to so many pelvic lymph nodes, that the cancer my be back. Praying that it is only the result of the 28 radiation treatment and/or chemo.

I hope that the scans are all clean! I am sorry that your wife has been experiencing pain and I hope that she brings this up with her oncologist. It very well could be from radiation as my pet/ct's are always referencing depressed bone marrow in my pelvis and worsening sclerosis. Thanks chemo and radiation. Keep us posted! Will be praying for a long continued remission.

I will pray for you and your wife that the scans are clear. My wife has just about completed treatment. Her doc is changing her meds and doing 4 more rounds of chemo because of a study that is being done in Australia. I tell everyone that the waiting is the worst part of this, I feel helpless every time we go through this.

Six month CT came back clear. Dexascan shows early stages of osteoporosis due to pelvic radiation. Merry Christmas everyone
