Remembering Marsha C. Mulvey who died on December 17, 2011 leaving two adult children.

Marsha was one of the most courageous woman I ever encounter on any online breast cancer boards since 1997. I have encountered a lot of brave women but none equal to Marsha. She was diagnosed as stage IV from the onset with cancer in her lymph nodes, liver, bones, and skin in February, 2010. Marsha never stopped doing chemotherapy in spite of continual progression. Most remarkable was that she still went to work each day. She was just beginning to slow down at her job, training her replacement, when the cancer escalated and she died.

Marsha always had an encouraging word for those who needed one. I never read any post where she was anything but extremely nice and kind. A most remarkable woman.

Won't you share some memory you have of Marsha?

Doris

    Marsha
Surely, more of the sisters remember this lovely lady?

When I have a bad day and I do now have them on Faslodex unlike the first time around, I try to recall Marsha with how positive she always was in her postings. Never, negative and always believing.

    Thank you New Flower.

Marsha was an exceptional sister to all of us. Through all of her writing the reader could feel grace and glowing light. She made an every complicated problem, including her own fight, Chemo treatment and progression, sounded like a regular, simple event. Marsha always was able to comfort others, made me feel at peace, embracing daily life and her cancer journey as something very natural without any complaint. She provided support, kindness, and love to all despite tremendous difficulties of her illness.
Thank you Marsha, we remember you
