Hope you can enjoy your weekend now---you've been through quite the time.
Our twins Christmas concert is tonight, but one was running a fever last night so I may stay home with the sick one and my husband can go with the other girl. Good thing there are two of us!

    Howdy Pepe
Today was my 1,000th day in Hell, but it was a pretty good day. One of my favorite sushi restaurants called and said they had Uni (Sea Urchin Roe) which I absolutely adore. So we went there for lunch and instead of just two pieces, they gave me four! I spent the next hour or so on an Uni high. Then I took my sister to see The Hobbit, a movie I've been waiting to see for about 40 years. All in all, it was a pretty good day. I'll be spending the rest of the weekend doing a final edit on my novel and resting up.

Wow Doc ,it seems it's been a very nice Saturday for you
Despite you have not been doing any extravagant plan , ( everest climbing or flying to an exotic planet , or fighting with windmils LOL).
Enjoy the res of the holiday my friend!
    Hugs!

    Everest
I haven't tried climbing Everest since 1940 when I was riding a snow leopard up the south face and was captured by a Yeti. I guess she thought I washer baby because she nurtured me for four years. Been afraid to go back since then, Yeti milk is just nasty. Since then I've limited myself to weekend jaunts on K2 and the north face of the Eiger.

    Christmas Tree
I got a tree! It's a six foot (or so) frasier fur. My family helped me set it up, as after 11 chemo hits, I can't frickin' do anything without needing a nap. sigh. found some strings of all purple lights at big lots, so I put those up. Figured if it's my last Christmas, dammit I'm doing what I want. Purple lights are odd. I won't go so far as to say they are creepy but they take getting used to. They're magenta than lilac actually. Will hang ornaments tomorrow.

    cheers
    Karin
