    Testimonials
    Testimonials are not scientifically based. I often see testimonials when someone is trying to SELL something. One of the reasons testemonials do not reach the level of Proof needed for science is this. The supposed "cured" person may have a different body chemistry than mine. So even if said "cured" person was truly cured it would not neccessariy work for Janet, Jane, and Julie on this board. I am not saying that it has no effects that might "assist" the process we already know is our best hope for a "Remission" of our disease. However the word "Cure" can only be used when tens of thousands of people have had the same results. I doubt you have these numbers. So please stop using the word cure.

    I just thought I could post about something that I do to treat my breast cancer and maybe I would find a couple of nice ladies to talk to that have heard of this or is doing this or knows of someone doing what I do. I never thought I would get such nasty remarks. I feel bad already having cancer and just thought we all could learn together about anything different that possibly could help us. I love reading tons of post on here and am learning so much. I thought when I first came here that maybe there was a "alternative" feed on this forum. But I didn't find one. If there was one then the ladies that wanted to talk about different types of treatments then they could. I have nothing at all to gain from posting my statement. I am just a MMJ patient...not a grower or a caregiver. I don't sell anything! So how can I be a "snake oil peddler"? I really don't have too many people I can talk to about my cancer. I live a very small town and have only been here three years. I'm so glad I found one friend on here. She is very nice and helpful and we are going to keep communicating. So I am happy for that. I will not be posting on here anymore as not to make anyone upset. But I will still love to read as many posts as I can so I can learn more about this horrific disease.     For what its worth Ginger, Im sorry you had to face such negativity for simply sharing your thoughts. I for one found your information very interesting and eye opening. I am perfectly able to make my own decisions based on my situation and needs, so I dont believe just because someone posts something, it can make others change a course.

    I also believe there is a very unknown wealth of medicine hidden in plants of all kinds, and it is a very untapped source for many reasons.

    I am just starting the beginning of this hell, and will most likely have to endure chemo, but I will be also looking into how to either create or obtain this oil to at least help the process.

    Im sorry you had to face some that felt malice to your thoughts, but wish you well in your journey, and would love if you could update me on your progress and any new research or information you may come across.

    Thank you so much Diane! I feel better already! I will keep you updated about anything new I come across...(always researching). I was going to explain on this feed why I don't do chemo anymore. Back when I was twenty I had my first baby and had a "saddle block". It made me so sick. My doctor gave me something to help and it even made me even sicker. A few times in my twenties I got other prescriptions for ailments...and my husband would have to take me into the emergency room because I would be so sick from the pills. I knew early in life that I cannot take many drugs. It actually changed my life for the better because we would always had to find natural remedies. Most things that I take are all natural. My next three babies I had were born with no drugs what so ever. I felt like a million bucks after the births. I loved that! When I was diagnosed with cancer I was afraid that the chemo would be very bad for me...which it was. Very bad! So that is why me and my husband began searching for a natural treatment...I won't say cure...it angers people. I don't write very well and didn't know what else to call it. Sorry girls! We found out about cannabis and decided that's what I wanted to do. God intervened and brought a very nice couple into my life. I am so grateful! They don't live real close to us, but I don't mind making the 100 mile trip now and then to get my "meds". I'm doing very well with what I am taking. I haven't had a bad day in weeks. I haven't missed a day of work in a long time. It's like the cloud that was over my head is gone. Sorry to go on and on, but sometimes I can go for hours and not even think about my cancer. Before it was on my mind almost constantly because I felt so bad. They say that happy thoughts can do wonders for anyone. Anyway Diane, thanks again for being so nice. I definitely will think of you as one of my Big C buddies if you don't mind. Take care, Diane

    You should be able to post like the rest of us and I am sorry if you feel you cannot share for I know how important it is to have the ability to get things off our chests. I had moved away from ALL my family and my friends to be with my partner who could help mewith my angry teen and know I wouldn't have survived if I did not have a dumping ground for all my fears and a place to share since most people did not want to hear about it because they are into positivity God help someone should actually be ill and be honest about how they reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy feal.
    I hope that you can still find a safe comfortable place to lay yours and actually there is nothing the matter with sharing.

My husband is a very good writer...he wrote a couple of books and many papers for his work. I think I will have him proof read if I have to explain important info again!     I apologize if you are a legitimate poster, but claiming that "thousands of women" have been cured by cannabis strikes me as extremely irresponsible. There is no scientific evidence of this.

    As a nurse practitioner and a 25 year survivor, I have seen many, many folks discontinue their therapy for many different reasons over the years. None of them are here standing with me today. Good luck to you and I hope to God that you are an exception, because I have said many, many times before the very worst side effect is the cancer itself.

Where people without any medical or scientific education whatsoever decide on how cancer should be treated. Would that those of us who are Stage II,III,IV could avoid chemo, BUT CURRENTLY THERE IS NOTHING ELSE, nothing! Ginger Girl, am I correct that you are HER+? I was Stage IIB,HER+ IDC, Grade 3 - the most agressive, the fastest growing of all cancers, you are playing Russian Roulette with your life and so are the others (did I count correctly 4?) who advocate the Cannabis "Cure". Once more, all of you, give us proof, not vague terms like "testimonials". How did all the thousands upon thousands of dedicated, hard working and often ill paid scientists around the world miss what a care giver in your small town discovered?

    The scientists around the world did not miss this. There is scientific research going on about this all over the world. Many universities in the USA and all over the world are also conducting their own research. There is no money in this because it is a plant that grew naturally all over the world for thousands of years...so the big pharmaceutical companies cannot patent it and profit from it. The doctors and hospitals will lose too. I can't provide links to all the medical journals and research papers on here. Believe me, my husband and I read them all. Some of the gals are researching on their own. It takes up quite a bit of my time reading them all, but it is worth it. As I said before cannabis is compatible with chemo. It really helps to relieve lots of side effects of chemo and still will kill cancer cells. And I said that I have to travel 100 miles away to get my meds from my care giver...he doesn't live in my small town.     I understand your scepticism. I have been involved in the public health field for over 30 years and I did not believe this either --- until I did the research.

    You can call cannabis oil "snake oil", but I can assure you that GingerGirl has a very good chance of success. Within 4 months the tumor was GONE! No other treatment. Rick Simpson, the man who started this, has cured 1000s and he was no snake oil SALESMAN because he GAVE IT AWAY FOR FREE! In fact, it cost him thousands of $ out of his own pocket, not to mention years of stress, time in court, kicked out of his own country (finally allowed back in) ... years of derision ... few men could have withstood what he endured to get the word out ... the man should be sainted!

    1. The study found that cnnabidiol, a non phsychoactive substance in marijuana stopped metastisis on cancer cells in a PETRI DISH!!!
    2. The Cannabidiol will probably have to be injected or put in a pill form to be effective. NOT ENOUGH CANNABIDIOL CAN BE ABSORBED BY SMOKING!!!! I would think eating would not do it either though the article wasn't clear on this. The scientists refined the pot to obtain the cannabidiol to use in their studies.
    3. Chemo is a PROVEN method of treatment and I KNOW it is working for me. MY stage IV had come through the nipple and remained an open sore for months. It has now healed after 2 infusions and the lump is gone (can't feel it).
    Ginger I will be praying for you because I believe you are going to need it!
